The 22 Major Arcana each have a rune depicted on them except for two cards; 0/XXII, The Fool, (contains no rune and is symbolic of The Void) and card No. IX, The Hermit, (which contains four runes to symbolize all of the elements, fire, water, earth and air).
Each Totem creature is shaded in gray, to show that it exists but does not have the greatest impact but instead offers additional guidance.
The astrological sign of each Prisma Tarot card is contained within the circular color symbol.
The Prisma Tarot color symbols are based on the colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, magenta, turquoise, pink, black and white, which each by itself or together with one of the other colors make 78 different combinations. The Major Arcana commences with The Fool card in black and The World card in white. Each of the suits in the Minor Arcana has its own primary color and its own element. Red is for Wands and belongs to the element (Fire), green is for Cups (Water), yellow is for Coins (Earth) and blue is for Swords (Air).
Each suite has with it an "entity of a spirit-elements” that indicate an action, an emotion, a behavior or expression. No physical being is depicted therefore on the cards 1-10, only entities.
The Prisma Court cards have similar symbolisms except for the Pages whose childlike energies have expressions of their own. Knights, Queen, and Kings follow similar archetypical patterns but each with their own attributes and they face left or right depending .on the energy of the element to which they belong
Each card in the Tarot deck has a given response in astrology. Ace of Wands = Aries in the first decade, two of Wands = Aries in the 2nd Decade, 3 of Wands = Aries in the 3rd decade. Thereafter comes the 4 of Wands with Leo in the 1st decade etc… Each number 10 card has Chiron as its symbol.
The Court cards are governed by the signs of the zodiac. Each zodiac sign can be found within the colored circular symbol on each card. Wands are associated with the fiery elements of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. Cups are associated with the watery elements of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. Coins are associated with earthy elements of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn while Swords are associated with the airy elements of Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.
The Prisma Tarot can be used as a regular tarot deck but you can also probe far more information using its representation of astrology, color, and totems.
Each Prisma Tarot card is laminated. Size: 7 x 10 cm.
